As the official sponsor of the Mexican National Team, Burger King wanted to go big—and bold. Over the past year, I helped lead the creative charge across a full 360° campaign that welcomed the team home, fired up the fanbase, and brought our Home of the Whopper into the world of El Tricolor. From launching “Welcome Home” with a fiery brand takeover to developing social-first content that captured real-time energy and fan culture, we celebrated every match, moment, and meal. I also worked on in-store promotions, collectible packaging, custom meals like the Tricolor Meal, and experiential ideas that brought the brand and fútbol together in unforgettable ways. This was more than a sponsorship—it was a cultural takeover rooted in pride, spice, and the love of the game.

Role:

As Art Director, I played a key role in shaping the look, feel, and energy of the Burger King x Mexican National Team partnership across the entire year. I led the visual development from concept to execution—creating campaign key art, designing collectible packaging, directing social content, and overseeing creative across digital, in-store, and experiential touchpoints. From pitch decks to final assets, I ensured every element stayed true to both the Burger King brand and the spirit of El Tricolor. I collaborated closely with copywriters, designers, and clients to bring bold, culturally relevant ideas to life—whether that meant crafting scroll-stopping social posts, designing a Tricolor Meal, or turning a Burger King restaurant into a vibrant fan hub. My work helped drive a consistent and elevated visual identity that celebrated fútbol with flavor and fire.
